WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

Marjorie has been on at me to let her do Karate for at least a year now.
A a few weeks ago she was invited to go to an open day at the club her little friend goes to and she enjoyed herself so much that I decided to let her start.
She has two classes a week. We have been very lucky because her little little friend Marli's father started the lessons along with his daughter so he takes Marjorie for us and in return if he ever has a problem going himself I can always take Marli along with marjorie.
The annual subs are less than £20 and the lessons are £3.50 each. I thought this was a good deal and something that we could stretch to even on a really tight budget.
Once again, Freecycle came to the rescue and we were given a virtually brand new karate suit for her.
Little did I know however, that Marjorie seems to have a bit of a talent for Karate and is gaining badges left right and centre and at £1 - £1.50 a badge this hobby is becoming pretty expensive!
Good job I start work soon. I'm going to need the extra income to finance this hobby!
