Star Trek...... Living up to expectations!

To say I was a little bit excited about the new Star Trek movie is an understatement.
The more pictures I saw, the more snippits I found out about just made me salavate more and more.
Well, my wait is over.
I went to see it yesterday and in the two minutes I have to write this, all I can say is...........

JJ NAILED IT!!! IT'S F###ING AWESOME!!!

I don't want to give anything away just yet but I will say that it's funny, slick and the characters are all spot on.
There is a really clever little twist in the story that now means that they can do anything they want with all of the characters and not have to worry about ruining what we already know of the history of the classic crew!
There is BIG potential in a whole new string of movies (or tv series?)
We just need to hope that the film is a major hit worldwide.
